I was watering my tomatoes (actually, I came by to thank you profusely for the 'Tomato Perfume' recipe you left at my blog last week. I fully plan to try it and I'll let you know how it turns out) today and a bright green tree frog jumped out into the hose spray. I was surprised because I thought my cats had eaten every creature that moved. They have a craving for lizards and voles lately, though. My black cat was sick and I thought he had a 'bug' and, indeed, he had eaten a dragonfly, the crazy feline. I've rescued 3 from his mouth this spring and saved them. I try to keep him in the house, but he loves to climb trees and I hate to deprive him of his favorite hobby. Last week he came within inches of catching a squirrel. He's pretty fast. Anyway, thanks again for the recipe. I really appreciate it. Blessings!
You're welcome, Marion... and thanks for being the first person to follow BOTH pof my blogs! I hope you'll dig through my archives someday and see what's there.
I'll be posting 3 haiku each time here on Haiku Koo-Koo and I've got enough haiku to keep that going for awhile. Enjoy!
beautiful poem,
ReplyDeletebeing yourself is cool,
When you grow up, of course.
ReplyDeleteThat's a tiny frog! I love your Haiku.
