Green plant life lays siege
To every available
Outcropping of land

  2. Wonderful haiku; made me think of kudzu, "the vine that ate the South" here in the U.S. It does just what your poem says; it takes over every possible surface, including power poles and lines, buildings and even wrecked cars if they're not removed quickly enough.
