My grandpa

  1. Actually, I never heard either of my grandfathers say such a thing.

It popped into my head while contemplating my own grizzly reflection (after not shaving for a whole weekend), and I thought it sounded like some adage an old-timer (like a grandpa) might say.

  3. No hurry, Mel... I only post one a day and they're not going anywhere. They're short enough that you can read a bunch of them at once - and not get full!

  4. All the grandfathers during my 'youth--100 years ago!--HAD beards, etc. My mother called it 'facial hair'. She also called crapping the "process of elimination"!

Can't you just hear us little kids saying, "Mommy, I have to go do my process of elimination." Well...it's TRUE!

Been a while since I was here, but glad I stopped by. I see you frequently over at "you-know-who" poetry
