I've spent a lot of time staring up into trees(it was my job--I wasn't *only* a total fruitbat) and I've never seen such a beautiful pattern, like spokes on the wheel. Excellent pic, and a very nice haiku to accompany it.
Lawzy, Eric, how many blogs have you got going? You must have that multiple personality thing going on. (but they're GOOD personalities.)
