My haiku is mostly non-traditional, but sometimes it works out well. I mostly just try to follow the 5-7-5 format and don't worry much about 'capturing the essence of the moment' like traditional haiku do.
It is hard for us to get the Haiku's as to the Japanese standards for our language is different. From what I have read on this and I am no expert -- it is then more the content of the haiku that counts or something like that.
Yours are really nice, and love the pairing of the photography -- really quite nice.
nifty blog you have here... I don't really know much about haiku except that it requires a particular number of words and a particular rhythm, yes?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Scott!
